Thursday – Art
The Meet the Masters curriculum is used. Students are introduced to the life of a major artist. They are shown examples of the artist’s work. They are taught about the techniques used by the artist, and then given opportunities to practice the technique themselves. After learning the inspiration and techniques of each Master, the students then do an art project in the same medium, style or subject matter as the Master Artist.
